Fadeta Travel Story:
My name is Lucie Higgins and I began my Fadeta Travel journey in 1998 as a passionate travel agent in the Czech Republic, helping people turn their holiday dreams into reality. My professional path later brought me to Australia, where I met my husband Darryn. In 2007 we co-founded Fadeta Travel, a not for profit service offering free travel advice, helping clients save both time and money. Feedback and appreciation from these clients motivated us to launch a commercial mobile travel agency in July 2025. Today we are proud members of the Express Travel Group with access to worldwide travel service providers. We are committed to creating specialised itineraries specifically tailored to our customers’ needs and preferences.

Our family trip to Chamonix in 2016 was an unforgettable adventure, photo above! From the breathtaking views of Cairns and Zurich to the exhilarating car rental experience, we created amazing memories while staying at a chalet beneath Europe's highest mountain peak, hiked with the kids around Chamonix, ate the French authentic delights, enjoyed an overnight train ride to Prague, and stayed in stunning chateau hotels in Czechia. Our journey also included a relaxing stop at a hotel in Hong Kong Airport before heading back to Cairns—what a trip it was!
